This post is just to get some of your guys opinions on what you would have done/thought about this.
I like Holly, a like Holly a lot. Sometimes fighters kind of wedge their way into my fandom by shutting up guys I hate e.g. Rafael dos Anjos beating Pettis, Fabricio Werdum beating Travis Browne. Holly most definitely became a fighter I followed and supported after that win over Ronda.
I was shitting myself in Round 2 when Tate had her in that choke, very tense moment. She was so close to winning that fight, or at worst having a draw - so to see it change so quickly was gutting. Seeing a woman go unconscious like that is never nice, and to see such a nice woman like her go out in that brutal fashion was very sad to watch.
I get a message from my friend - an MMA fan, and a little bit of a Rousey fan also. Although in me saying that, the guy changes his tune every bleeding minute, one minute the Holm win was a fluke, next thing she's going to walk through Tate, and next minute he goes off of Ronda because she's an excuse making, annoying character now.
The message says "Goosebumps", and I reply with "So gutted man", "Very sad to see that".
He then responds with "Fuck that bitch man", "Never liked that bitch".
At this stage I'm confused as fuck, like she's so humble, she's such a nice girl, you're not a huge Tate fan - so like what the hell? I respond with "Who's a bitch?"... he then says this...
"Holly man, she's a bitch, never liked her" - "She's a steroid user"
Am I wrong for then ignoring this man's messages for the remainder of the night and even to this moment whilst cussing him out to my other mates. Like it's just a sport but how can you be that much of an uneducated idiot?
