MVP to the UFC!?!

Wondergramps vs. MVP would be fun, winner gets a TS, loser has to face Belal

Wonderboy would obviously be the fight to make, but he already said he wouldn't be interested. Which is a bummer and makes no sense.

I guess failing that you could give him a guy who will stand and bang it out with him like Garry or Luque.

Wonderboy is a good fight for a 6'3" welterweight — but he gets killed by Pereira.

I'd like to see him against regular higher level competition. One of the few times he fought a top guy he got knocked dead.

He got fucked up by Platinum Perry at BKFC... somewhat close fight, but he still got his face caved in by a former LW in a striking sport.
MVP has wasted his prime boxing absolute cans while fighting one random a year in Bellator, it's kind of a shame but I guess he knew his limits if that was the ceiling he had decided on from the start...
His last fight against an elite MMA guy in Bellator, Logan "Storm" Storley, MVP lost.

If the UFC gets him, at least they'll get him for cheap I suppose. Could be good to co-main for a couple smaller UK cards.

Still a few years too late.
Love MVP but he will never become a champ.
Give him fun matchup...potentially maybe MVP vs Wonderboy.

A literal decade too late for me to care and I fw MVP

He did better than Rockhold who is the bigger fighter and gave Costa hell.

MVP is never going to be champ but they can put some fun fights together.

Wonderboy
Holland
Jingliang
Ponzinibbio
Luque
JDM
Pereira
Zaleski dos Santos
Garry

Any of these fights is likely to be good.

There are some fun fights at WW for MVP, luque Garry Holland etc but MVP is not a serious threat to the title. I imagine he sticks with the same strategy of fighting a lower level of competition and stacking up highlights. Have to say though, I thought storley would 50-45 MVP but he arguably lost and the win against yamauchi was super impressive too so maybe I’m underrating his ability

Give him some clumsy WWs he can style on before giving a dog I’d say

“MVP” is flirting with the UFC and could wind up competing in the Octagon.
Who do you think would be a good debut opponent and how high is his ceiling in the UFC.
Could he become a Champion?
Who would be his kryptonite?

Wonderboy...we can find out who's the real fuckin Ninja around these parts sir lol.

People love to write fighters off before they’ve even had one fight in the UFC. I remember they were saying it about Jiri too, that he’d never be able to replicate his style at a higher level. Gaethje before that

I think the Perry thing is harsh. Kicking is a massive part of MVPs game. He doesn't really have a style suited to BKFC. He does seem to fancy himself as a good boxer, but he's not. He's best when he's being a pressure kicker/sniper who mixes his strikes up and confuses people.
