Muslims for Sanders?

This is something I was thinking about last night. Muslims are no doubt furious with Donald Trump because of his views on them, and Hillary is a woman, and women are not considered to be equal to men in the Muslim faith..and while that is true in other faith's such as Christianity, Islam is easily the most anti woman religion on the face of the planet. With Count Cruz taking a big hit because of a potential sex scandal, that leaves just 3..Trump, Clinton...and Sanders. Will the cultural aspect of Islam bring Sanders the Muslim vote?, what do you think?

I think it's a form of mental laziness, how people think all Muslims are on one side of an issue.

Many Muslims who are in America, came here to get away from people like ISIS/AQ/Taliban.

They came here to live in a secular democracy.

Same thing with immigrants. Many came here through a legal process to escape the ghettos of Mexico, Cuba, Philippines, etc. They don't want to see the land they fought to get to, so their children can have better lives, turned into a socialism/communist/theocratic, respectively, cesspool.

People were shocked when Trump did so well with immigrant voters in exit polls, because they fail to make that connection.




A lot of immigrants hate illegal immigration, and a lot of Muslims hate the idea of bringing in un-vetted Syrian refugees who would like just want to turn America into the shithole they fled from.

The are the minority, but they exist. They are probably in greater numbers than we know because they are afraid to voice their support for Trump in today's toxic environment.

That Muslims for Trump group believe he will do good things for the economy, which is important because many Muslims here are successful small businessmen (gas stations, delis, corner shops, etc.) or high income professionals (Pakistani doctors). Of course some like his common sense approach to immigration.

Dr. Nidal Alsayyed seems like the kind of immigrant we want, an industrial engineering researcher. I wonder if his field makes him a bit different than other Imam's in outlook as well.
