International Musk's crazy "Rent-a-Center" Golden Dome missile defense plan draws jeers from... just about everybody

Is the primary purpose of it to be a defense dome or is it just capable of being used as one and they're saying the government can borrow/rent it if required, since I imagine 99.99999% of the time it'll be floating around the government actually has no use for it since noone fire rockets at the US.

If so, bit of a non story.

Sounds too ridiculous to be true. Should be solely owned by the US government.

Its time to take Musk out of the political spotlight. I appreciate his efforts with DOGE but he's a businessman first and thats who he needs to be. Combining the 2 is problematic. Plus he's a weird and awkward guy. People don't like him.
But that’s what the people voted for,

A Weird and Awkward guy who is Businessman first..

Are you not entertained?

People like Trump though. People don't really like Musk. He's not charismatic.

Question. Elon is a detriment to the Republican Party but how do you get rid of the richest man in the world? He literally bankrolls campaigns. Repubs get rid of him and I would image Repub campaigns start hurting for money significantly. Saying I need your money but I don't need you won't work with Elon.

Nothing is too ridiculous?
This pales in comparison to the previous administration which was a rolling carnival freak show with no evident commander in chief.

Nothing is too ridiculous for our current government
