Given that there r even treads here on spirulina n brown rice, I guess its fit to ask this. What are mushrooms made of? Given its spongy/fleshy texture n looks, It does look a lot like protein. Is it true? Or what is it made of then? If its protein its kewl, coz its cheap, does not spoil easily n can b added to every meal.
It depends on the mushroom. Some are more energy-dense than others, but they are all rich in nutrients like vitamins and minerals. They're carbohydrates.
Oh boy. Of which mushrooms are you speaking? Personally, I do not ingest mushrooms for mineral/protein/carb. These are the ones I take: Reishi Maiitake (d-fraction) Turkey Tail Cordyceps Shiitake I mainly use those to boost my immunity/white blood cell count. Medicinal value. One serving with 2 cups of green tea (not the bag, gunpowder all the way). Three servings a day during change of season when viruses seem to be more common, in green tea of course. I add to the change of season protocol: Astragalus Royal Agaricus So sorry I can't give you actual nutritional facts of the mushroom for I don't know them. However, I hope this keeps you well.
Interesting. What can you eat instead of mushrooms to get the same effects? I personally hate mushrooms in almost any form.
First number is the value per 100 gram serving. I don't know what the significance of the other values are. They represent 'data points' and 'std error'
