Muscular fighters with great cardio

Most of the tiny guys are ripped as hell with great cardio.

prime randleman never seemed to gas til the end of his career

Usman stick out in the current crop but he has an aerobic style. He’s not throwing power shots.

DC. He does not look shreded but trust me, he has loads of muscle.

usman, and he has the best cardio in the UFC, and he doesn't run ...

The original EPO machine of MMA.

I'm surprised no one said Paulo Costa -- he looked relatively good in my opinion for 3 rounds against Romero in a very high output fight.

If loses to Alvey that'll be so sad.

Hopefully he wins & retires. 5 of 6 isn't a bad way to go out.

Would Ryan Bader fit the "muscular" archetype? if so than he is one as well as Tito Ortiz.

Woodley has good cardio and is chiseled, uber reem never got too tired, there are a few for sure. Marry is also, but doesnt spend a whole lot of energy with his styler

grappling is more taxing than power shot ...
He’s still doing aerobic work. Look at a wrestler like Romero and the techniques he uses.
Physiologically Humans have fast and slow twitch muscle fibres. People have a majority of one or the other. That’s why we have sprinters and long distance athletes.
Romero explodes-rests-explodes whereas Usman goes at 70% the whole time. Look at the body types Usman is ripped but almost like a swimmer.

To get really simplistic while they could probably do both they’d run the risk of injury/cramp etc. Usman would probably fatigue a lot worse if he exploded like Romero does.

Interesting fight to look at is Rashad Evans vs Phil Davis.
Evans the explosive fighter wore Davis the endurance fighter out by using explosive techniques and transitions due to Davis countering with Explosive techniques.
