I'll be there. My son will be in the juvenile blue and I'll be in the purple. I'm coming off recent ankle surgery, so I have had zero training to get ready for it. I may end up having a bad day, but I still want to compete.

Will be nice to finally experience this tournament. I am getting excited and a little nervous at the same time. My matches are on Thursday. Anyone have any suggestions for what to expect in the white belt division? High level competition I'd imagine.

Can you elaborate? Is this like, people who have been promoted shedding their newer belts? Or schools who have held back students? Or something else?

Adult, White, 154lbs -- 2nd tourney, training 2days a week since Nov, hoping to not get subbed to fast

Not going, but those who are check out a couple of guys from my gym Yukinori Sasa and Taisuke Hangai. Both are blackbelts and both are awesome. Especially Sasa.
BTW the gym is Paraestra Tokyo.
