What are some schools in DFW that do Muay Thai training? I live in the Arlington area and would be interested in joining.

Check out Zoti's school on the first page of the school directory stickied at the top of the forum.

There's The Gym in Arlington, Muay Thai classes are $130 a month, instructors name is Danny Torres. Danny and I come from the same lineage via Master Yang's Academy. They start you off slow but you'll get a good foundation in the basics. Bushido Martial Arts Academy is a MMA gym but teaches Muay Thai a couple days a week. Thats all I can think of in the city of Arlington. There's a lot more MMA and BJJ schools around than Muay Thai in the area. Check out the forums and school directory of TXMMA.com.

For Bushido go to txmma.com and go to the school directory, it has a phone # posted. Tuition is $95 a month and the instructors name is Justin Rose. They have some pretty good MMA fighters out of there too. Yves Revolution Gym is in Houston Im not sure if he trains up here or not.

I havent trained with Justin Rose from Bushido, but I know he also comes from Master Yangs where I got my start and that was a good school. Actually, I know some guys from Bushido and I would train there except their schedule isnt good for me. Also, I forgot about George Prevalsky in Irving, www.muaythaiboxing.com its a little drive from Arlington but its a good school. I think its about $100 and they have boxing and Muay Thai, its run out of Mohlers Jiu-Jitsu but I cant speak for the BJJ.

I cant speak for their BJJ because Ive never trained BJJ there or rolled with Mohlers students, but it looks like they have a good all around school. They got 1st at the last local no-gi tourney and they have some successful MMA fighers, if you're interested in that.
