These are all confirmed former Nakmuay's who have transitioned into Boxing. The boxing achievements can be verified on boxrec, and I have interviews verifying Muay Thai achievements (still a work in progress as there is no boxrec equivalent for Muay Thai).

That is impressive but I'm skeptical of the level of competition they faced.

.

all the people you have mentioned fully crossed over the ts is talking about just turning up on the day.Thai boxers train six days a week and rarely take more than a week off between fights. It is a full-time job and they are employees of the promoter.oh and poon is a beast

I understand that, it was a response to someone saying that a Muay Thai Champion couldn't do it.

Oh, and Poonsawat is a beast. I haven't been able to confirm that he competed in Muay Thai so he's not in that list. There are still a bunch of Thai Boxing champs that I have still yet to confirm that they competed in Muay Thai. I'm sure most got their start there but everything that I put on that list has been confirmed. It's still a work in progress...

*EDIT

It appears he was...

Poonsawat Kratindaeng Gym vs. Bernard Dunne : My Muay Thai

"Poongsawat did a media meet and greet at a local muaythai gym. He did a few rounds of sparring and then transitioned to Thai pads as he gave the reporters a MuayThai demo. Poonsawat a former NakMuay (surprise, surprise) drew applause from the media with his display of flying knees, kicks and elbows."

Maybe not the thickest of competition for some on the list in regards to Boxing, but I'd certainly give credit where its due. Transitioning from one combat sport to another is hard enough to just be competitive. Being able to take major titles is very impressive.

Well the guy you quoted probably meant winning boxing comps by training muay thai. Obviously those Nak Muays spent a great deal of time exclusively on boxing to make it, although their style sometimes symbolizes muay thai

Sirimongkol usually has his feet close together and uses his waist to get inside in boxing

poon did when he was over for the dunne fight he dropped by my gym and said dunne couldn't ko him as he was use to taking kicks to the head from the best muaythai fighter
