Muay Thai Glove help

thanks ill go check that out now !

Sorry about mentioning the palm opening so much, thats just my most major concern because my old gloves sucked at it, and pretty much ruined and stretched out the inside from trying to open my hand lol. so as long as both of these are good at that, im sure ill be happy with either. Now i just need to find out about those other two, although i probably wont go with them, atleast not now unless i get more information

and when u said the bgv1 difference between 14 and 16oz, are u talking about the fairtex, or did u mean bgv3's for twins? or is there no substantial difference from 14 to 16 in either. Im leaning more tawrds the twins for right now, even though i like how the fairtex seem smaller profile, but if the 14 twins are smaller then 16 fairtex in overall size, ill probably go with those for sure.

I meant the Fairtex BGV1's in 14 and 16oz. are very close in size. The Twins BGVL-3's in 14oz. will be "considerably" smaller than the Twins BGVL-3's in 16oz. The 16oz. Fairtex in the BGV1's are probably slightly smaller than the Twins BGVL-3's in 14oz. Clear as mud, yet?

haha thanks, if the 16 fairtex is bigger then the 14 twins, then ill deff go for 14 twins if i pick that. thanks gain, helped alot. I think ill just go with one of those over the other two gloves. Thanks again, now im just going to see if i can find more comparison pictures but i think ill like the twins more rounded look/feel then the fairtex

:icon_lol: No, the Fairtex BGV1 in 16oz. is slightly "smaller" on the exterior size than the Twins BGVL-3 in 14oz. At any rate, I certainly do not think that you would be disappointed with the Fairtex in 14 or 16oz., or the Twins in 14oz.

sorry about that, i wrote it down wrong but i understand what you mean :p
I guess itso kay that the 14oz twins are bigger then 16oz fairtex, just makes my buying of the 14s' an easier pick over 16's. I hope its compact enough for me to move arround well

Now i just need to find a site that has them in stock in white -__- ndmartialarts is out of them

So someone at my gym had the fairtex bgvl1's in a 14 today, i tried them, but i didnt realy care for it, i wasnt able to open my palm to much and they were deffinitly broken in, andi also tried these i think Everlast Professional Hook-and-Loop Training Gloves | Everlast Boxing Gloves | Everlast Boxing Gloves, Equipment, Gear, Supplies & Apparel | Shop by Brand from Title Boxing in 16oz like dark red, atleast im pretty posative it was those. i actualy liked them alot, the velcro was snug and nice arround my wrist, and i could make a realy good fist and open my palm realy easaly, it alsoseemed lighter then the fairtex, but they seemed a little wide at the top but still, any opinion on those at all ? pretty sure i wont b going with the fairtex, not realy comfterable for me, hoping if i do go with twins that it would be a little softer and easier to open my hand...if anyone knows that would be great

ill look to see if i can find anything about those gloves so you all dont hate me for the questions =p

Not sure about the Everlast's you posted the link to as I have never seen or owned them. The higher priced Everlast's seem to be alright, just avoid the big box sporting goods store bargain priced models, as they are not too great to say the least.

Twins specials are a little more pricey, but if you want something durable and comftorable id highly recomened them. only gloves ive ever owned

Hey guys, so i pretty much cancled out the fighting sports gloves and some of the others i origionaly stated, and am either going to go with twins bgvl 14oz, or those everlast pro ones in a 16 or 14oz that are i hear are discontinued now (they're like 80-90$ if you know which im talking about) ..they have decent reviews up here and i tried them and liked them

I would deffinitly go with the twins, but i cant seem to find a legit site that would take less than 4 weeks to get to new york. If anyone knows a site that would have white bgvls in a 14 and would only take about 2 weeks to arrive that would be awsome, unless they will always be arround 3 weeks + unless i pay alot extra.
If not, i think ill get the everlasts' for convenience.
thanks for any help
