I asked a friend about this same thing, & as I was told... Dana said in an interview that "NGannou hits like a Ford Escort."

So that would explain why Dana'z filling up Ngannou with fuel... & the one where there's a car bumping through the cage... & another one where there's a Ford icon on the side of the cage.

Fuck. I was aware of the Ford Escort meme, and recognized it everywhere else but it completely went over my head. Just thought it was some weird thing about ngannou's gas tank.

Fuck. I was aware of the Ford Escort meme, and recognized it everywhere else but it completely went over my head. Just thought it was some weird thing about ngannou's gas tank.

It all started when Dana said during a presser that Ngannou's hitting power was equal to a Ford escort going at full speed.

That's why people refer to him as a Ford Escort. It's kind of a running gag.

Then he fought Miocic and gassed early. Which explains why he fought Lewis the way he did. He was afraid of gassing early.
