MRI Black Powder.

Jack3d is pretty good. Creatine monohydrate, beta-alanine, arginine, caffeine, and geranamine. Other than arginine, all the ingredients are looked on favorably here. I think Devilson uses a lot of geranamine preworkout, but I'm not 100% sure it's him.

I liked Jack3d a lot. Effects were noticeable. Energy from it is really good and at two scoops the effect of beta-alanine was noticeable. Price is not bad either.

Just because a product causes a sensation it does not mean it is working in a way that would benefit you. BA should be taken after working out, not before.

Basically, pretty much all the products on this page contain two things that will help: caffeine and creatine - and a bunch of other things that make you "feel" something but don't actually do much. The funny thing is, you could get a years supply of both for about a month's supply of the NO2 Jacked whatever stuff.

I honestly wonder if something with a placebo effect this powerfull (sic) is safe??? :icon_surp

Ok, the ingredients seem solid, but Creatine Mono, BA and Caffeine are some of the most dirt-cheap supplements out there. Arginine is in everything and doesn't need to be supplemented. You could buy the active ingredients of Jack3d separately for a fraction of the cost. You're probably paying a several hundred percent up-charge for MRI to put these things together in a bottle with fancy packaging for you.

The fancy packaging lets people know you're serious.

Some people are willing to pay a lot more to avoid actually thinking about what's going into their bodies. Marketing and flavor seem to have just as much of an effect as the actual product. If some people swear by the product and it helps them gain, I'd say it's 50% due to the proven ingredients and 50% due to mental trickery (maybe more the latter actually). The irony is that the critical thinkers don't get the same benefit as the gullible, and informing people about the 'scam,' while saving them money, actually might lessen the benefit they get out of it. Motivation and belief play a huge role in performance.

i take no products because i like the feeling and they are cheaper than energy drinks. pure caffeine doesn't feel the same to me. i have noticed that black powder gives you energy without the shakes and actually seems to deliver an actual increase in vascularity, which i assume helps deliver nutrients... hate all you want. i like the stuff, better than no xplode anyways.

This is something I've thought about as well. But I don't think it's responsible to not be upfront about things, even if it means a reduction in performance. That difference could come by having a real internally motivated goal, rather than reliance on an external supplement.

i love the people who say like buy stuff separately, OK? where? give me a link? lol.. I could care less if i pay like 30 bucks for a bottle of black powder.. I don't work out every single day and run out of it in 2 weeks..

lol I miss the dynamic of this forum sometimes. You have a group of people that are some of the most well read/knowledgeable posters out there on nutrition and supplements and at the same time a bunch of people that want to ask for advice but never seem to like the advice given to them because its not what they want to hear.

Bulk Nutrition - 1Fast400 Caffeine Anhydrous at discount prices!

There's caffeine, I don't have the time nor the desire to find all your shit for you. But that 500 doses for seven dollars should be an indication of how much money you are literally giving away to somebody else for nothing in return.

Edit... Here's some more ingredients.
Do you need all of them? Maybe, maybe not. I'd personally go with Caf, BA, CreaPure and a B-complex for about $0.40 cents a dose or 1/3 the cost of NOX.

B6 $0.042 GNC Vitamin B-6 100 - GNC - GNC
Folic Acid & B-12 $0.113 Bulk Nutrition - Enzymatic Therapy B12 Infusion at discount prices!
Ca & Mg $0.039 Bulk Nutrition - Now Foods Calcium & Magnesium at discount prices!
Na&K $0.003 Meijer: Morton Light Salt Mixture - Pack of 24 (11 oz ea)
Caf $0.014 Bulk Nutrition - 1Fast400 Caffeine Anhydrous at discount prices!
Creatine $0.12 Bulk Nutrition - Ultimate Nutrition CreaPure at discount prices!
Beta Alanine $0.20 Bulk Nutrition - PrimaForce Beta Alanine at discount prices!

That's about 53 cents plus shipping and without gold card type shit, it's still close to 30% the price of NOX. Some of the doses I listed are greater than NOX (splitting pills into 3 or 4 parts is unreasonable IMO). I'm not getting into the things that don't work, nor the questionables like periwinkle root and cinnamon extract. Plus Ca inhibits absorption of Mg so that's kind of a waste on NOX's part (but a small one).

I kind of wish I had more time to really do this proper... maybe this evening I'll edit.

I have to chime in here. While your post is true, Jack3d is cheaper per serving than most other products. Most people who aren't on a budget won't buy them all separate, but you're of course free to do so.

AAKG is not needed, true, but it does make for a great pump and is also very cheap in bulk as well.

Here's the Jack3d Ingredients. Many people love it because of the 1,3 Dimethylamylamine, which you don't have on your post. You can find that at 1,3 Dimethylamylamine too.

Schizandrol A, though, is a bit harder to get your hands on, and helps a lot in the "focus" category. Schizendra plant extracts have been around for a long time.

A) I don't think they appreciate companies advertising on here for free, alteast without full disclosure. Although you name being the same as the product that you are pushing is close.

b) The biggest issue I see with Jack3d is that one scoop only contains 4.3g of active ingredients. Being that you should be getting 5g of creatine per day and 6 g of Beta Alanine it would either require a person to take multiple scoops (which could be a problem depending on their stimulant tolerances) or they have to buy the ingredients in bulk and supplement with them on top of Jack3d, which eleminates the need to buy the product in the first place.

This is usually the first thing I look at, the recommended serving is less than what any one of the main ingredients should be. Meaning, you'd have to take 3-4 servings just to get enough of the main ingredients, so you're better off buying things separately because you never know how much of the ingredients are in there anyway.

"the pump" is retarded and does nothing for performance.

Haha owned. I always wondered why Ca and Mg were put together, ZMA even says to avoid Ca containing products before bed.

As for peri workout a B vit complex and 100mg of caffine total about 5p and creatine postwork out. Also creatine always seems to last twice as long as it supposed. i.e. a 500g container using the standard scoop seems to last for like 200 scoops as opposed to 100.
