Dracula must be nr1 on my list.

That dark gothic, medieval feel its what I love.

They cant seem to recreate the same touch as they did back in the 90s. The last Dracula was terrible, some super powers over the top like killing 1000s at the same time or some weird sci-fi effects not quite fitting the movie. God knows what it was about 90s and earlier dates but older movies had something in it. I cant break myself to anything new almost like I was stuck in that era. Very few new movies makes an impression on me today.

Other movies on my list, Interview with Vampire, Omen, Exorcist.

They will always give me goosebumps and the longer break from the last time I watched it the better effect on me.

In regard to series I may want to rewatch Lost as I only watched full 1st season and few bits from season 2. I got on my hard drive all episodes of Game of Thrones still waiting to be watched. I may just wait for them all to release first and make myself a marathon.

Yes I had high hopes for Paramounts relaunch of the Dar Universe around Vampires, Mummies, Frankenstein, etc.

Unfortunately it looks like it will be abandoned by a less than stellar first launch of the Mummy featuring Tom Cruise.

From what I have heard they gave Tom Cruise too much control and it instead of being a true Mummy movie it ended up being a Tom Cruise action movie, with a special guest appearance by the Mummy which just did not work.

I’ve spent hundreds of hours on Lord of the Rings over the years.

I am due for another Matrix marathon one of those rainy weekends.

I've actually only watched the theatrical and i only intend to. I cant add another hour to those movies lol and they have a nostalgia factor for me anyways. I like to see them how i remember them when they came out.

Like to binge watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood every few years. Beautiful story.

The Godfather 1 and 2 are great to watch.

I am rewatching Quantum Leap right now and really enjoying it.

Gus Van Sant’s Only Lovers Left Alive was an interesting twist on the vampire genre.

This, Byzantium, Let the Right One In, and 30 Days of Night are all great original vamp movies.

It’s usually a pretty good genre. Not a lot of clunkers, even the lower end ones are fun.

Interview is still the champ imo

If not the best movie/ story, certainly the highest quality.

Also add Cronos to the list of incredibly original vamp movies.

I’ll throw in Abel Ferrara’s The Addiction for that pile too

In no particular order my top ten movies are:

Back to the Future Part II
Star Trek III the search for Spock
The Empire Strikes Back
Robocop
Total Recall
Predator
Conan the Barbarian
Aliens
Scarface
Terminator 2

I try to watch each of these movies at least once a year.

For TV shows any time is a good time for Star Trek the Next Generation, 90s era Simpsons, or Beavis and Butthead

For video games, every few years I’ll go back to play Super Mario Bros 3, Doom, Quake II, Half-life 1, Starcraft or Diablo II.

I would say try the extended Return of the King anyway as its quite significantly different rather than adding the odd interesting scene, in that case Jackson was held back by the hard 3 hour 45 min barrier for films without an intermission I'd say and some sections of the original feel rather rushed like the Paths of the Dead or Frodo and Sam in Mordor.

I do this with TV series and my addiction has worsened now that i live in Asia there is a free streaming service that has all of my favorite series...
I usually go am floating between The Wire, The Sopranos, and Boardwalk Empire. My wife hates police/crime shows so she hates that i am watching them 24/7 but there free and can stream them on my iPad. when i was getting my certification for a job i basically watched the sopranos twice and just crammed from the text book..

For TV:

Sons of Anarchy
Black Sails
Spartacus
Better Call Saul
