What are some movies widely released in theaters with decent budgets and all that people just never talk about anymore? Stuff like... the 1998 Lost in Space movie. That had a big budget, 'name' actors, and was pretty well promoted at the time of release. Yeah the movie sucked ass, but a ton of movies that suck ass are still watched and talked about by a decent number of people.

This is probably a retarded thread topic but whatever lmao

The Prestige
Big director, big actors, cool movies
Rarely mentioned or aired (at least here)

Big Fish
One of Tim Burton best movies ever, don't think is much mentioned even talking Burton stuff

I feel like Ronin doesn't get anything like as much love and recognition as it should. De Niro is the biggest star in it but I guess understandably it's kind of overshadowed on his resume as well

Way of the Gun isnt a "GREAT" movie but it sure is one of my all time faves

The only thing aint aged well is buying Tae Diggs as an agent. He's just not that guy.

World Gone Wild. I think only 4 people ever saw it and I know all of them.
National Lampoon's Up the Creek.
Beast Master - doesn't get nearly enough love.

The Prestige is literally mentioned all the goddamn time. i have no idea why everyone acts like it’s some hidden masterpiece nestled within the shadow of obscurity of Nolan’s filmography when it’s annoyingly championed by every bozo on the internet

Prestige is Nolan's best film.

Sling blade.

That movie was so popular that everyone was doing impressions of the main character.

But anyone under 30 has no idea of who that is, and you can't even show them because the fucking movie isn't available to stream on any platform.

If it weren't for DVD and Blu-ray the movie might be lost to history completely

Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Armageddon

Apollo 13

The Dark Crystal

Song of the South

Twelve Monkeys

48 Hours (although to be fair this movie would never fly in this day and age and Beverly Hills Cop was so much better)

Blazing Saddles (same)

The Siege starring Denzel Washington and Tony Shalhoub (FBI), Bruce Willis (Army), and Annette Benning (CIA) about Islamic terror cells being activated in NYC pre-2000.

I really liked it, it rarely ever gets mentioned.
Sounds like somethin worth watchin tbh

Outside of like 7 sherdoggers I don't think anyone remembers Gymkata
