Dudes record is amazing and his ufc run has been solid, he seems to only lose to the top guys but thats the issue, you cant be champ if you lose to the top guys.

Mousasi has a ton of fans on here he thought he would be champ in the UFC but that hasnt come to fruition, he was dominating hall on the mat until he got caught, he would have been on a 4 fight run, unfortunately thats the case for him though.

What do ya'll think?

His recent wins over Thales Leites & Costas Philippou didn't look very inspiring.

Nope. It's been talked about forever and he has all the talent in the world but just seems to fall short every time. The Hall loss was a real steam killer.

I believe in Mousasi , but his run in the UFC hasnt impressed at all.
Im expecting that this year will determine how far he is willing to go and how far he can get.

He is really talented, just lacks the wrestling to be a champ

People need to realize that Mousasi has more fights than Anderson, Shogun, Big Nog. He fought at HW, LHW and MW in the 3 major organizations: PRIDE, Strikeforce and the UFC That alone needs some respect.

Fuck all u guys, of course moose could be champ, the way rankings work in the ufc any fighter in any division that's top 10. Could get a title shot with a few good wins , I figured he would be a fight away from the title if he beat Hall. His time will come , I believes he's one of the most well rounded in the division I just wish he wouldn't be so relaxed all the time it's good but in some fights it costs him because the other fighters get off first and kind of kill his gameplan

Moose will be champ sherbros , hate on me all u want

He has some good skills, but is one of the most overrated fighters here. He's fortunate that they're a lot of aging fighters at MW, but there are also the Rockholds and Weidmans, and I don't think he'll ever beat them. He lacks a killer instinct, and good wrestlers will always be a big hurdle for him.

With the MW division being very top heavy age-wise Moose can very well be a champ in the next 3-5 years. His kryptonite is a strong wreslter. Brunson will be a good indicator to see how he's improved as a fighter.

He put a grappling clinic on Costas and left Leites a bloody mess. 2 strong performances.

Back in the Dream/Strikeforce days he was hailed on Sherdog as THE MW outside the UFC who would come over and end Silva's reign. I got my account banned bashing him.

Then King Mo lay n pray and Jardine draw happened and people went "meh". Then Jacare spanked him like he spanked Ronda and poof everyone was gone.

Calderwood-esque is his warwagon, Joe.

LOL, but Shogun, Anderson and Nog went through a series of non-stop wars against good competition, while Mousasi was battling the likes of Hiroshi Izumi, Tatsuya Mizuno, Steve Mensing, an ancient version of Goodridge, Dong Sik Yoon, Damir Mirenic, etc. In other words, his record is largely padded with no-names and cans.

He was champ material but it looks like he doesn't have it together mentally.

if they allowed upkicks from the bottom which they should he'd be a 4 division champ.

Otherwise i think he's not in his prime and has changed his fight style for the worse.

Not right now, mabye in the future.

Moose is kinda frustrating to watch sometimes, jab jab paw and jab. He obviously has skill, he just needs to open up a bit more, Maybe if he stepped out of his comfort zone and trained at Jackson's or AKA he could make it.
