Mousasi's resume

Gegard has one of the best skill sets at MW, but he is too hot and cold to be considered one of the best IMO.

He looked like a world champion some fights and like a middling fighter others.
More hotter than colder, but fair enough.

More hotter than colder, but fair enough.

He just has fights where he looks like a world beater like the Weidman fight and the Uriah Rematch.

Then he has fights where he doesn’t even look like he wants to be there like Leites, Uriah first fight jacare rematch Shlemenko Philippou and Mo fight to name a few.

Mousasi beat Jacare on 10 fight winning streak, Jacare beat Mousasi on 1 fight winning streak while still recovering from the surgeries. Jacare also said that he doesn't want to fight him the third time because he admitted Mousasi had a bad night and he had a great night, you can watch the interview yourself.

Just wondering, is there a single Mousasi loss that you'll acknowledge or do you have a near infinite list of excuses for all of them?

I am as big of a Mousasi fan as it gets and I can admit he has honest losses other than 2

One of the best MMA fighters and unfairly unrecognized. Great overall ability and hard to find a weakness.

just because you put them all in green doesn't make them good fighters.

Hes very easily 2nd MW GOAT. Obviously Anderson is ahead but hes up on everyone else prolly by a tier at least

@ MW hes lost to

Lyoto who he avenged by decision
Jacare who he also KOd
Hall who he also TKOd in the 1st in the rematch
Lovato who was on heavy roids and the fight shouldve been a draw with a 10-8 4th where Saucy dropped and nearly finished him

Still to this day it makes me angry how White and his idiot companions fucked up MW for a quick buck with Bisping. This was THE GOLDEN AGE of MW. Best ever and best it will ever be. Just read about it.

Jacare, Mousasi, Rockhold, Weidman, Machida, Romero and as low top ten monsters like Kennedy etc. Everyone of the top fighters a possible champ on their own with a very specific fighting style. And they fucked it all up for 2 years just for joke of a "champ" like Bisping just to completely delegitimize it with the GSP fiasco.

That would have been more epic era than LHW in its golden age or at least equal. So sad and really the point were every UFC nuthuggers regarding "corruption in Japan" should have shut up forever. There never was such a protected champ in the whole history of Pride for such a long time.

lately he has been looking weaker on the striking department.
He is out of his prime
top 3 MW GOAT imo

The truth

top 3 MW GOAT imo

He's 100% out of his prime.

Whats Mousai's top5 best wins?
Gegard acknowledged Lima as top 3, so who are the other four?

The guys saying he's second or third best mw ever, pm your dealers number.

He could be top3 counting wins in superior divisions. Winning in size dissadvantage should be a plus when regarding greatness/standing of a fighter. Whats the point of looking to just a portion of his career?

"Muh stoic jab!!!"

Nobody can stay motivated for 77 fights + he had 2 torn ACL's and arm injuries. Let's see how will Jones and Israel fight after 50 more fights

Adesanya has more fight than Mousassi lol.

Man I'm tired of arguing with people that wins at one weight class don't add to your legacy in another weight class.
