Seems like a big mistake to give one of their two stars a loss before they really get started in the organisation. Bit of a desperation move after all the low ratings I guess.

I'm wondering they are going to stack a card and hope cbs gives it a shot

These two are a good 1.5 to 2 weight classes apart. Mousasi fought comfortably at LHW. However, it's easier to man down and fight a WW than man up and fight someone like Phil Davis. Maybe we'll see Mousasi vs. Chandler next.

Good fight. I've been less than impressed with Rory's standup in recent fights. He has decent wrestling, but not good enough to keep Mousasi down. His problem is he's good everywhere but not great everywhere and I think Mousasi has the striking advantage.

Bellator makes some questionable Main Event decisions but I'm pretty sure this will be the Main Event. Either way, it'll be 5 rounds since it's for the title.

rory is an absolute fucking beast but this is probably a bad style matchup for him, rory might still be able to outpoint mousasi though, at least rory isn't exactly a small WW so i don't think the size difference will be too crazy.

Sadly it seems like the only way Bellator get big numbers is when they put people like Kimbo or Tito on.

I worry how much Rory will have left if he takes a beating from Gegard after the damage he took in the Lawler & Lima fights. He's still very young, but..

Its what both guys want. Bellator giving the people and their fighters what they ask for. This is what we should expect from organizations.
