Why? They are both LWs, both can easily make 155 and for all intents and purposes it just would count as a 2 LWs fighting where they didn't cut weight. They should have that option for all non title fights. As long as both fighters agree I don't really see the issue.

If Masvidal beats Usman last July i think Conor will fight him for the WW belt because it is an easier match-up for Conor because Masvidal is a striker not a wrestler which means this fight will be a stand-up WAR

Remember folks - this is mma/ fighting , not bodybuilding. That lactic acid build up could be a real bitch for someone that is already known for fading and for someone who has only cut weight once since Alvarez title " fight".

Conor should be favored and is technically sound to beat the evolved Dustin again but this isnt a cerrone mulligan , we dont have to cut weight " gimme".
Conor might win again but I just peeked at odds ...... -270 , -260 ? Odds dont justify the gap Poirier has closed as a mixed martial artist.
Looking forward to fight - want to see what Conor looks like vs a top 155er who is at top of his game.
