Yes, he is a veteran of MMA no doubt, but when you are the champ you are constantly fighting the elite of the elite.

He has no experience as a champion at this level.

idk if it counts as untested but pettis and cain have been out for so long that they might not be in their prime anymore. they arent too old, but some people go out quicker than others, like shogun or joe stevenson

Experienced is not the same as "tested".

One can be experienced choker. On the other hand, to be tested you have to NOT choke.
