This is always an interesting topic for me, because I always seem to be putting my mate's favourite fighters in the doghouse for having "overrated" resumes/records.

Interesting to hear from others who they think have padded/overrated records, because you even hear people say things like Anderson and Fedor have padded records.

One example I've always used was Vitor Belfort. Still in my humble opinion is a fraudulent "legend" of the sport with "made up" titles. Bisping until the Silva win I guess was another, you still could say him I guess.

What do you guys think? Who's the got the most overrated resume/record?

Overrated is really thrown around way too much in here...The only people who like to use that are miserable people who want to bring down those who actually have accomplishments.

I guess it's just us playing journalist for a day/moment - not bashing or hating on anyone, just stating an opinion.

This thread is not going to end well. Excuse me while I microwave some popcorn.

Just to stir the pot a little...

Is it too harsh to put Ronda in this argument?

This forum will thank you for any oppurtunity to bash her. While i think she was certainly overrated by the UFC itself,i never bought into all that, and think shes a really good fighter. Itll be interesting to see how she does in her comeback

I think Ken shamrock was a formidable guy in his day,he just always blew it when it came to the big oppurtunity. Obviously he should have retired 10 - 15 yrs ago...

I guess there is 2 ways to look at this right?

You could say, hey she's not overrated, because she's beaten all the best girls put in front of her - other than one, but that's alright.

or...

You could say, the resume is overrated because she's talked about in a P4P capacity and an all-time great, when the level of competition is not very high.

Interesting to know how people would look at that.

Troll or serious opinion?
Probably serious

The division wasn't that AMAZING

That being said, he still fought top competition within the ufc, probably would have had more difficult fights with SF fighters if they were in the ufc at that time.

Ronda

She fought part time fighters and when she fought some real fighters, she ran away and still hasn't returned.

A dirty fighter too, was getting smacked around, threw a cheap shot because she couldn't take it.

Her hype got go her head, she's a bully also.

Ken was the man. Another guys career who should have an asterisk next to name because of steroids, just like barry bonds. Its cheating plain and simple
