Most intimidating fighter past or present?

Wallid Ismael by a landslide, cant mess with a psycho like him

Great mentions so far. Wandy takes it. One I didn't see mentioned was Matt Hughes in his prime. Guy had an aura of invincibility and looked bored in the cage before he wrecked his opponent.

Wand and Crocop are up there. That staredown in their first fight gives me chills. I feel so bad for the ref in that fight.

Fedor is not intimidating IMO.

I agree but only one person mentioned him, babalu sobral is definitely up there

Not going back through each and every page, but... Anderson Silva?

He would win fights before they even started due to his sheer presence.

Strictly stare down wise - these two:

Sorry, Fedor and Cro Cop did NOT "look" intimadting whatsoever. In fact, in Fedor's case I always had to give lengthy preambles t o his fights to friends who didn't know who he was because I was actually embarrassed how he looked and that the greatest fighter in the world looked like a shlub next door. And no, without knowing who he was you wouldn't think he was some crazy psycho or anything else. Just some bald fatish guy.

If Wanderlei is quoted as saying nobody wants to fight you... you're fucking terrifying.

When I see this many Pride-fans in a thread... it makes me feel happy because Dana's stupid theatrics and his legions of newbs may be fading as people educate themselves about MMA. And now I want to see more of this, because it gives me hope for a future where Dana's bullshit is less influential.
