Not only that but their last playoff appearance was the Music City Miracle.

Gotta agree w/ Faust, never realized the gauntlet they faced to reach Shaq and Penny in the finals

I think it was Rudy T who in hindsight said that the best of those 4 powerhouse teams the Rockets beat that run was the Utah Jizz in the first round. Not surprising considering what I believe was a lesser Jizz team (both Stockton and Malone were older and further from their peak primes) made 2x Finals appearances a few years later and legit challenged Jordan's Bulls.

In football, there have been some impressive runs.

SF's run in 1995 and 1989 were very impressive.

The 2011 Giants had a murderer's row of tough opponents, having to beat 15-1 GB and 13-3 SF (SF gave the game away tho, those damned muffed punts lol) and then having to beat a loaded NE team.

edit: i'm struggling to find a single Finals team led by a player 6' or shorter other than the Sixers, that whole team strategy was let iverson chuck, mutombo played D and grabbed his misses and hit putbacks.

He's the same size as Stockton and Isiah. He just has the best crossover.

Sixers winning a game still doesn't beat the Lakers winning 11 in a row and 15 of 16 overall in the playoffs. The Fo Fo Fo Sixers are the only other team to compete with that record.

They also had prime Shaq, and entering Prime Kobe, and then Horry. Obviously that's impressive, but that sixers team had zero business being in the finals. the MIL team they beat in the ECF was better

The sixers had .....eric snow, the immortal todd mccullogh, i'll give Mckie as a solid player, and their leading player shot 36% in one those series (and they won).

That series Larry Brown learned how to beat the Lakers. He tried to shut down Shaq and realized he couldn't so when he got another chance with Detroit he let Shaq be Shaq and used his resources to shut down the role players.

In '04 all the Pistons did was try to shut down Shaq and bait Kooby into being Kooby

The '71 Bucks had all of their wins by double digits except for one in the playoffs, where they only won by 8. They went 12-2 to win the title.

2012 Baltimore Ravens, beat Houston at home, went on the road as heavy underdogs and beat the Broncos in an all time classic game. No one gave them a chance against NE on the road, the defense and Flacco played the game of their lives winning by 15. The SB game may have been the craziest of them all with the blackout stopping their momentum, they were able to hang on, thanks to god and Ray Lewis. Flacco's SB run is the best I've ever seen from a QB.

01 playoff lakes was the greatest basketball team of all time

Ohio State in cfb this past season:

Lost their starting qb before the season.
Lost their second string qb in their last regular season game.
Beat 11-3 Wisconsin 59-0 in the B10CG.
Beat 12-1 SEC champ Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.
Beat 13-1 P12 champ Oregon (who'd just beaten 13-0 ACC champ Florida State 59-20 in the Rose Bowl) 42-20 in the CFPCG.

Faust is right. Ben and sheed fronted shaq and largely denied him the ball.

Kobe was trying to get him early in possessions, shaq wasn't fighting for position like normal. Kobe chucked, they lost

Rodgers 2010 >

That's right, I forgot 2010 GB also had to win 3 road playoff games. The poor Falcons and Jay Quitler haven't been the same since.

The Falcons got absolutely abused that game, it was brutal.

Bills making 4 straight super bowls while no other team in SB era has even made 3 in a row.

Plus all those kids in Africa got those snazzy champion buffalo bills shirts for 4 straight years

Somewhere in Africa there's a village who thinks the Bills had the greatest dynasty in NFL history.

College football isn't a pro sport you baboon. I guess this is an improvement tho, I'm honestly surprised you aren't citing your favorite WWE exploits.

The thread title doesn't specify.
And lol at a Pride fanboy talking about WWE. STEP YOUR GAME UP, FAUST.
