So many idiots about tapping to strikes.
Its ok to tap from a sub that will only make you pass out. But your a f'in pussy if you tap to something that can end your career if you dont.
Im beginning to think that a lot of sherdoggers lie about training.
I agree. And it's something to be proud of if a fighter who is overmatched keeps fighting trying to win the entire time.People saying a 50-45 is embarrassing????
It means your opponent was clearly better but you didn’t get finished. It’s not an embarrassment.
The only people who say this are GSP fanatics that think it somehow protects his legacy if they can convince the world that he tapped to protect himself from brain damage.
1. Fighters literally get punched in the face for a living, they're used to it, and taking a few punches isn't what causes brain damage.
2. If they were concussed or knocked out, they wouldn't be aware enough to tap.
3. It's widely frowned upon in the MMA world unless you were seriously injured by one of the strikes.
Shogun is usually the one that comes to mind for me when it comes to tapping from strikes. Forgot about GSP.
Yes if you tap to just getting jabbed up or something similar you shouldnt be fighting MMA, you should check out grappling. Being in full mount by someone like Sapp and hes smashing the shit out of your orbital in is not frowned upon.
Its the same for idiots that say Id rather have my arm broke over tapping. Do you want a career as a fighter or just the image of some fake machoman?
#3 No its not. There are some fighters that frown upon it. But not the majority of fighters or coaches.
No dude. The most embarrassing way to lose a fight was done by you -- when the girls beat the shit out of you in primary school. Only that could explain your cuck mentality.I can't make a poll thread, but this might work. Fuck, it'll probably be a shit show, but whatever.
- Tapping to a choke
- Going to sleep from a choke
- Tapping to an arm or leg lock
- Having a limb broken or ligaments torn
- Tapping to strikes
- KO
- TKO
- 50-45 / 30-27
- DQ
- Injury
- Corner stoppage
- Doctor stoppage
- Exhaustion
- Knocking yourself out
- Showboating before getting finished
I believe it to be tapping to strikes.
What say you?

These fighters have the courage to step into the Octagon and put everything on the line. There is no shame in losing most of the ways you said.
The only truly 'embarrassing' way to lose that you mentioned would be the showboating. The only other way I would mention would be Kalib Starnes vs Nate Quarry, where you literally run away to make it to a decision. But fighting your heart out and losing should never be looked down upon.
You would probably criticize Conor and Dustin for tapping to Khabib. Let's see your bitch ass get in there and fight Khabib. My money would be on you crying within 60 seconds.
Not rocked, if I remember correctly.
Lol at 6 months good as new. Like surgery is no big deal.Had a guy in another thread say that submitting to armlocks was more embarrassing than tapping to strikes because "medically" there's no risk to armlocks, only 6 months and you're as good as new, but strikes can give permanent damage.
Swear to god, I can't even make that shit up.
ALL WRONG
It is by shitting yourself literally.
Try to tell me a more embarrassing situation.
