Big ass heavy opponents.

Was trying regular doubles and singles on this dude, but when he sprawled, there was no moving him.

Been working the low single since, which has been far more effective.

There's also the leg hook double, but that can be more difficult to get than the low single.

Anything else??

For a single?

Either turn the corner, switch to a double whilst stepping through, or step in and lift with head under their arm.

All much more difficult on the heavier dude.

Jigaro Kano had good success with Kata Guruma/Fireman Carry.

Mine were firemans and snaps (not pulling on the head , snaps downs), and russian ties. Low singles are a good way to get smashed underneath a fattie if you don't have a massive speed/skill/strength advantage

In BJJ I like feigning a guard pull but go for an ankle pick

Something like tie up, fake foot sweep to create some distance to the lapel side hip, put the foot in and start sitting back, quickly drop to knees instead and go for the ankle pick

Lots of guys blow their wad when they think they get to be on top

you need a combonation to take down a good big guy.

w/e combo you do best, is always best.

+1 for the ankle pick. You can even do it sitting down even against larger opponents.

Yes obviously I was just being humorous with the high amplitude suplex answer.

How about an arm drag to trip, whatever it is called it has a Japanese Judo name.

That's probably what you meant by the leg hook double after all.

I am big and I don't like when smaller guys use that td on me.

Shrug, ankle pick, arm drag, snaps. Nothing underneath, you don't want to be get stuck underneath a guy bigger than you.
