As an organization, that Reebek press conference/Fight Kit show was beyond embarrassing. Looked like a production put on by a high school. And that dude with the loudspeaker. I cringe just thinking about it.

See I don't find Rothwell's interview cringeworthy. I thought it was just hilarious. I also think there is a little bit of ambiguity as to whether he was doing satirically riffing on a pro wrestling type promo or was legitimately attempting to do a pro wrestling style promo which adds to the amusement factor.

But watching the video again, one of the funniest aspects is how Anik brings him back down to earth and you can almost see the promo character deflate in front of your eyes. It's like Rothwell didn't expect him to ask anything more, when he says he wants to ask more about the fight, is unsure whether he should or should not respond (I was supposed to end with the creepy laugh, damn it) and then when he does respond to the question quickly transitions from the pro wrestling guy to just his normal self (um it happened how it happened-)

Classic post fight interview in my opinion.

Joe said A LOT of stuff about Ronda that was over the top. But I believe that particular phrase (and it's a classic one used on Sherdog a lot) was by Ronda herself.

she said something to effect that at a given moment, under the right circumstances, she could beat Cain Velasquez (who was the HW champ at the time).
