Movies MORTAL KOMBAT II (2nd Trailer, post #42)

Trailer gave me a bit more hope. Cage'z one linerz are cheeky AF, but that's a part of his original character, & so this all fits for me. Lovin' teh actor choice.

We need lots of epic fatalitiez & these were pretty rockin'. Fingerz crossed they pull it off~

Hiroyuki Sanada should've been Chang Tsung imo... remainz to be seen how well Chin Han doez, but that would probably be critical... depending on his involvement in teh story.

Shao Kahn waz more of teh star of teh gamez sequel story, & so maybe it will lean more heavily on him. Hopefully Martyn Ford can pull that off... he certainly haz teh look.

Yeah I quite like casting Ford as Kahn, he's at least got the size and intimidation factor going.

Disgustingly bad first movie, but this trailer was good... still think Urban is not for Cage.

I didn't like the guy with the stupid metal torso power.

Eh, this really doesn't look that good. I will check it out when it's available to stream tho. I swear I'm just jaded with current Hollywood.

- Super-Man movie and Mortal Kombat at the same year. God does exist.

Look horrible. Guess i am getting old. But this is another eye candy for the nerds.

The action sequences are just like Marvel movies. Look like cut scenes from a video game.

Same with the Godzilla and King Kong movies.. its colorful and nice to look at. But your mind knows that you look at a computer animation.

Could have been a intro from a future PlayStation game.

Its hard to get my imagination to relate..
It’s a fun movie based on a video game.

I do hope it is an actual tournament. Though, the first movie wasn’t actually a tournament either really but still it was awesome.

That ugly bald Asian is getting a huge push right now.

Almost 2026 and this is the best rehashed cheese they can come up with ?
Mortal Kombat should be gory as hell also

video game cut scenes remain supreme lmao

MKII trailer looks surprisingly interesting. Far more than the last one which was extremely forgettable.

I really enjoyed the last one a lot, looking forward to this!
You enjoyed Cole Young? Or whatever the original character was called?

It sounds like this sequel was made directly in response to the many flaws of the first one.

It was stupid a corny, braindead popcorn flick. 100% lived up to my expectations.

...probably didn't hurt that I was drunk while watching it.
I made a thread about this.

The Mortal Kombat II trailer breaks record for most viewed red-band trailer with 106.8 million worldwide views in its first 24 hours of release.

they need to go back to the roots and make choreographed martial arts the star of the show, lean away from all the cgi

this fight scene still stands the test of time

This scene actually gave Robin Shou a permanent back injury after he was thrown into that pillar.
