Exactly! It's pretty much a submission that didn't lead to a tap out but did cause an injury. Using the same logic that people here do, all failed submission attempts that slightly injure the opponent should be illegal? (Only if it's done by Jones of course)

To be honest ... most fighters would poke people in the eye as much as Jones did IF they had Jones' reach.

because he's not sure if it should be. At least now it says "is it dirty". I thought it was killer instinct. Same as the oblique kicks. Jones has no compunctions about injuring someone to win. Dirty? not in a rules breaking sense but many think he is for that.

Jones is the king of poking eyeballs. No comparison for me. I've never thought of DC as being dirty. Didn't even consider it until this thread.
