It can't be cost efficient to mine and transport iron ore back and forth?

What is MoonX's Smithing level?
 
But what legal rights would a corporation have to any land that is on the moon? After all, the is no governing body that is responsible for recognizing and defending such rights. I see shenanigans as soon as other corporations start get involved in this new frontier.
 
Hopefully the aliens running the moonbase don't see this as an attack. Would be hilarious to start a war over some iron ore.

Considering iron ore is at 80 bucks a ton and is as volatile as wanderlei on roids there is no way in hell they could make that profitable.
 
I don't think they would send the iron ore back. They'd use it to make steel for moonbases and whatnot. They'd be sending the precious metals, rare elements, etc.

I don't see it being that big of a problem to ship from the moon to Earth, gravity being on their side for the most part.
 
Would anyone e here know if this could potentially lead to something disastrous? Mining shit from our moon seems like a bad idea.
