Multiplat Monster Hunter World

Setting it down for the night. Might go back and try Diablos again, at least he doesn’t have blatantly broken mechanics

I can’t game and drink this thing is triggering me
Dude, I gave up drinking and gaming unless it’s a stupid FPS like destiny a long time ago. In Souls style play I play like garbage. Need that mental focus.

How do I beat the Odoran or whatever the fuck. The stupid fucking bleeding mechanic is the most bullshit fucking thing this side of Shrine of Amana. Fuck this thing.

lol you can clear bleeding by ducking.

Lol you can make it all go away by just snapping the disc.

Just killed Odoragon. Soloing is great but if someone wants to duo for awhile let me know.

HR Diablos is no joke, it's fucked me up 4 times in a row, i want to make the armour from it

I had its head, tail and flanks broken and that bullshit bleed happened and I died

I’m failing to see how this isn’t more of a problem for other people. He hits me and inflicts bleed with one hit left to kill me and I’m either hit stunned and he wrecks me or I roll and bleed out

I have to sharpen a lot as I hit a lot so Im more ussd to ducking out for a sec, which includes sheathing.

Nah I’m enjoying this game too much to break it. I’m already 30 hours in and have had it for a week.

Lol was joking. I'm at 40+ hours, haven't been hooked on a game like this in years

Alright captured the thing with some help, no bleed this fight either for some reason

Like some of you guys, I'm 31 hours in and stuck on Odogaron. I tried like 7 times solo last night. One time broke most of his parts and had him limping, and continued to unload on his ass. At that point I realized he has way more health than anything before him, because I was really smashing him.

I find his health to be the worst thing. I'm doing it with a long sword. I'm used to his speeed and attacks by now.

One nice thing is, though I've yet to beat him (had to go to bed for work today ARGGHHH) I am getting a ton of his drops because of breaking him.

This game is a breath of fresh air compared to most modern day titles. It feels like it takes the best aspects of late 2000's era games and mashes them with the good stuff from today.

I was wailing on him with 2 other people and he still switched locations 4 times. Also having constant poison draining your health added another element of bullshit to that fight, made the health booster almost mandatory.

Turns out I haven’t been using the amped element discharge on the CB, which is its most overpowered attack. I really should have done the weapon tutorial.

I didn't have any trouble with Odagaron maybe i got lucky first time around, i can see why it would be a problem, it's fast as fuck and the bleed is annoying, i always make sure i put down a health booster so i can retreat to it if things get a bit hairy.

Anyone having a problem with money in this game? Maybe I’m frivolously upgrading shit but I’m flat broke.
