Yeah. My first solo attempt i got it to half health before getting destroyed. Been grinding with randoms and slowly gathering parts for the armour and weapons. When i've got an OP build i'll try and beat it solo again and leave my gloves in the ring.

I don't really enjoy the fight. Alatreon was actually a fun fight and would be great if not for the DPS check. Even AT Velkhana is fun but Fatalis is just shit.

Yeah I usually grind for weapons but I just hate Fatalis

Not just yet. Don't have the optimal build for Switch Axe yet but will continue with that for now. I have everything i need from AT Velkhana to make a frostcraft hit and run build should i need to use Greatsword.
 
I've lucked out.

The Plunderblade and Palarang grabbed the Fatty Cortex and Pectus. I used GaijinHunter's cheese strat to get wings. I solo'd Fatalis twice and got 6 Evil Eyes.

I've crafted the full Fatty armour set, and True Fatalis Lance. I think I'm good.

Fuck AT Velkhana.

Edit: solo'd Fatty two more times about an hour after this post. I'm working away from home from Wed-Fri so will give AT Velk a few more runs before I head out. I'll see if this Fatalis set can carry me through.

The recent capcom leaks suggest a PC release for Monster Hunter Rise and development for Monster Hunter 6 targetting 2023 release.
