Okay, did okay with DBs (still got crushed sub 7mins) but I went back to Lance.
RE: chip damage - I must have been on crack and not been using Guard5 the first time around because the chip damage is nowhere near as bad as it was when I first tried it (each attack during his triple fireball was taking close to 1/3 of my health3 bar). Fatalis still hits crazy hard and with quite high frequency so getting block-locked is definitely possible especially during its triple fireball attack (which it likes to do twice in a row).
 
Apparently the latest tech is to spam the clutch zero sum discharge with the switch axe on Fatalis
 
Alright I beat the part where you can't use SOS and then left. I'm not up for soloing this thing. Gonna jump into some lobbies now.
 
Got it to the second to last nova and everyone got thirsty for the dragonator. If you camp it he just blasts you from range and we lost our last cart that way. Also two dipshits not paying attention and carting to the 3rd nova.
 
Basically if you cart before the second nova just quit. Second nova is 50% hp
 
I'm still in training at the moment. I'm preparing elemental Greatswords to have to fight Alatreon again but i'm also learning Switch Axe which looks fun and is quite effective against Fatalis.

I made the 3 piece luna 2 piece goldian cheese build and we took down Fatalis in 27 mins. Fuckers closed the gate on me so I carted to the second nova lol.

The Alatreon you have to fight before Fatalis is completely nerfed. About 1/4 HP. Still hits hard tho.

Had Fatalis down to 30% and he carted me 4 times. I was so pissed. Its like if you cart once you get taken out of the groove and he just fucks you up after. I did manage to forge 4 pieces of his armor from plunderblading and part breaking tho. Now I need to farm the gems to augment the armor and armor spheres.

Man I really want to beat this one solo. But God fucking damn.
 
Fatalis sucks so many dicks. Capcom created the hardest boss in the history of the franchise with this. Its just so cheap its insane.
