And yea, the 'white privilege' came as not much surprise. Latin America and much of east and south Asia have a fixation with light fair skin appearance embedded into the cultures. It's also a major driver of the caste system in India, of the sentiment and separation between north and south which it turns out are actually descended from two major, distinct ancestral groups.
