MMA wrestlers

Marcus Levessaur (not sure I spelled that correctly) has the top win streak (3 time champ I think) in NCAA's it is Div III but he spent his first year with Minnesota which is D I. He currently fights and should make it big because he is very exciting to watch. He fights like Melvin Guillard but much better at wrestling.

What win streak are you talking about? The top D-III win streak....or current win streak? There's no way he topped Sanderson's win streak, so I'm guessing you're not talking about overall.

It's an honorary team for collegiate sports, although they now have high school all-americans as well. It's sort of like an honorary college all-star team.

The numbers differ for each sport, but there are probably more from wrestling than any other sport because of all the different weightclasses. My guess would be the Top 8 for each weightclass, but I'm really not sure.

Thanks mate.

I really like how everyone is going to underestimate Brock Lesnars Wrestling... He's ridiculously strong, fast as anyone in UFC (He ran a 4.9 40yard dash when he tried out for the NFL) plus he's COUNTRY BREAKFAST (Referring to being raised on a Farm) strong, he has that unnatural strength.... wait till he gets someone in the Ring/Cage and drops them hard with Double Legs and two on one suplexs

Besides that Couture is the best credentialed wrestler, even over Lindland

Some info on Rashad. I knew he wrestled Michigan State, but didn't know he coaches too. That's awesome.

I think any former or current wrestler thinking they can hit it big with MMA needs to look at this list and realize you more than likely need to be an elite upper level wrestler to make the transition. Gets on my nerves when talking to other 40 year old coaches who think they could easily do MMA because they know how to wrestle. Don't get me wrong, I'm with all the other coaches when we think it's awesome that wrestlers do well, but many seem to be under the impression that just knowing how to wrestle means you'll do well. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Do you know what credentialed means???? Lindland has a Olympic Silver Medal. That's considered World Class Wrestling and Couture has how many Olympic Medals?

i think that Coleman Hughes Randleman and Koscheck are pry the best of this group

Van Arsdale, Lindland, Couture, Henderson actually were olympians/alternates; Salmon trained with the team, not sure if he made it as an alternate.
