Yes he did. Floyd was weary of trading with Conor until he gassed and was hurt twice by Conor. Before Conor, Floyd hadn’t been stunned by a punch since the Mosley fight.

why the hell did it take 10 rounds for the GOAT boxer to beat Conor. Probably wouldn’t have finished him if Conor didn’t blow his wad. Now we see Floyd in Japan knocking out guys in 1 round
 
Overrated massively actually, anytime you get a skilled striker from another discipline who's actually motivated to learn MMA and remains humble, they destroy the competition. I know I'm not the only who gets excited when I see a fighter actually defend a low kick properly, we literally start hype trains the second a guy looks like he knows what he's doing in there lol.

MMA toughness is what tends to get underrated though, the ability to suffer across their entire body the way MMA fighters do is incredible.

MMA really is the most complete combat sport currently. Once you add takedowns in and take away big gloves, the dimension completely changes.

It'd be interesting to see mma vs boxing with these rules:

-Takedowns allowed (no kicks, knees, elbows)
-Fight has to be reset on the feet after each takedown

And the same against kickboxing/muay thai but with elbows, knees and kicks allowed.

LOL all retired fighters. Paulie was retired forever and has pillowfists and broke his hands right away in BKFC. Hollyfield couldn't even get sanctioned in other states because of his health. Rahman isn't even in the top 200 in the HW division. Chavez Jr was kicked out of gyms for being on drugs and not training. That's the version that Silva beat. That's mma's claim to beating boxers? "Come on maaaaan!" LMFAO

Someone from an mma background needs to actually beat a legit current boxing world champion or at least a top prospect that's in line for the title for some bragging rights. None of that listed is going to cut it.

Floyd would have no reason to carry anyone. Why isn’t Floyd carrying these cans in Japan? You think Floyd would purposely look like shit against a guy who’s not a boxer lol. You think Floyd let Conor knock his head back and almost knock him on his ass to carry him?

Floyd Sr said before the fight Floyd was taking it seriously and was aware of Conors power early in the fight. Once Floyd seen Conor embarrass Paulie in sparring he took him very serious.

And boxers need to get in the cage and beat one of the top guys to have any claim at actually beating an MMA guy sir.

He stunned Floyd with that uppercut and had Floyd hurt by that body shot in the 9th round and the ref seen it instantly and saved him.

Even GEORGE FOREMAN said himself Conor had Floyd hurt and the ref saved him

Paulie got robbed against Artem. It was worth it just for his reaction at the end but it was still a robbery.
