MMA Media = "D-Riders" -- Real media would go after Dana. See: NFL/Roger Goodell

It's been bad for a very long time now. Unfortunately the media is controlled by Dana. As others have pointed out, Dana can make things very inconvenient for you if you happen to ask the "wrong" questions.

Why do you think NOBODY from the media has inquired about Vitor's very strict and multiple random drug tests and why they don't seem to be taking place. It's a total joke.

Meltzer posted the facts on his own website in one short article and had a breaking news audio update where he and Bryan Alvarez talked about everything.

You have to pay money to view his website, but, to his credit, Dave is finally mentioning the shit on his twitter where anybody can see it.

can't really blame them too much, the UFC has them by the balls.

MMA media has been useless for as long as MMA has had media.

MMA journalists are afraid of getting blacklisted by Dana

Roger Gooddell would do a better job heading the UFC than Dana Fucking White

What's been happening in MMA/UFC recently demonstrates just how pathetic MMA "Journalism" really is.

From Thiago Silva, Rumble Johnson, Jon Jones' troubles to the lawsuit/fighters' treatment.

MMA Media is a joke. Just a voice-box for the UFC and Dana. Every headline is the same... as if the "rehab" thing is even close to being half of this BOMBSHELL of a story...

The Headlines out there:
Sherdog: Jon Jones Test Positive for Cocaine, Enters Drub Rehab
MMA Junkie: UFC champion Jon Jones tests positive for cocaine, enters rehab
MMA Fighting: Jon Jones tests positive for cocaine metabolites, enters into drug-treatment facility

It is because the UFC is a private company and Dana can ban people from attending their media events.

As a matter of fact he has done so for a while.

MMA is amateur hour lol, as in fighter talent and media

There's something called integrity.

And Dana/the UFC is not the sport.

Integrity doesn't pay the bills, and even then, good luck cashing checks reporting on bellator and WSOF once on the UFC's shitlist.

There is no real MMA media.

The MMA insiders can choose not to talk to anybody, and only talk to "friendly" media persons which is common.

Pretty much. This is why they don't rustle feathers, the MMA media has always been a joke.
