Mma orgs should stop this popularity contest based matchmaking. Reason is,just like any entertainment (movies, music, pro wrestling) - we end up having 40 y/o known people being in top of food chain, which leads core fans to stop follow this sport.
I personally in few years probably gonna stop watching mma, too fucking freakshow with no sport interest (intrigue of whos the best and etc).

That's cool. We want people who can speak complete sentences as fans.

I think it's in a little of a lull right now but it's pretty popular in Poland, Russia, and Brazil. In America it's a niche sport but it's been through periods of a lot of interest and will get back. Not long ago Ronda, Lesnar, and Conor were putting on huge card after huge card. Conor will be back this year, wouldn't be shocked if Lesnar and Jon Jones came back either. Another big star will emerge as well.

Even if you rewrote this in fluent English you still wouldn't make any sense.

Boxing rules supreme

If it lost a ton of popularity it would become a small scale niche sport watched by only a small group of hardcore fans.

I’d be fine with that and I’d still watch.

Idk Man. I used love UFC, I still like it but I feel like I'm moving on from it? I just don't get as excited for it as I used too. Even though a big fight is coming up, I lack the excitement I used to have. It's weird I used to watch wwf in the late 80's and 90's I didn't think I would get over it, but I did. I haven't watch wrestling in like over 10years. I hope I don't get over UFC

Dana used exact same shit Mcmahon did with, monopolized.
The thing is,we are going nowhere near where mma should go as a sport, its should be everywhere, discovering young talants should be the priority.
Instead i have to watch washed up stars.
