MMA alternative : fighting in water instead of cages

Instead of cages, how about fights in the water?

Like a giant tank of some kind where you swim to your opponent and grapple, throw punches / kicks etc

Water will change EVERYTHING

Imagine how different each fighter would be in such an environment, The rankings could change quick son
