Took the cangels nearly 60 years to get too .500. Lol

I blame chapcan for throwing bombs at people's heads. Rizzo is a stud for standing up for his teammates.

Yeah I just the highlight, unless something happened before Chapman pitched I dont see anything wrong with what Rizzo did. He threw at a guy twice and then stared at the dugout, so Rizzo defended his teammate.

I don't think there was any way possible that chapman was gunning for Ruggiano. It's top of the 9th in a tie game with no outs. Why would he put someone on base? And if he was going to hit someone intentionally he wouldn't be headhunting.

Regardless, you can't throw down your glove and hat and walk over to the opponent's dugout wanting a fight.

Youngins gotta stop being so goddamn sensitive.

Looked pretty intentional to me, and with the heat Chapman is bringing it isn't safe.

Even if it wasn't intentional you better let him know that it won't be tolerated. I'm more opposed to the godlike status that pitchers think they have. Pitchers always think they're hot shit

Colby Lewis was demolished by the Angels' lineup on Thursday, allowing 13 runs (11 earned) in 2 1/3 innings, resulting in a loss.

Lewis entered the start with a 5.51 ERA, which was ugly enough, but it took a serious beating on Thursday. The right-hander surrendered 13 hits and struck out only one, but at least he didn't issue a walk. Lewis, tattered, heads into the All-Star break with a 6.54 ERA, a 1.82 WHIP, and a 73/26 K/BB ratio

So which one of you writes for Rotoworld?

So you advocate more of this? because for years MLB has been trying to crack down on fighting.

Lol it was a tied game in the ninth inning. Why the fuck would have he done it on purpose? Chapman is a bit wild anyway. I would be upset it if I was the guy at the plate considering he throws 100+ but Rizzo was just being a little bitch about it.

"but at least he didnt issue a walk"

Nice silver lining for being left in tatters.

I can't remember the last fight in the MLB. Maybe if someone actually got hit they'd stop throwing at people.

Getting hit with a baseball is more dangerous than getting punched. I'd prefer to see that stop than fighting

Chapman didn't hit anyone. You're advocating some guy starting a fight, because he teammate almost got hit; If that's the case there would be fights in every game like hockey.

The guy throws 103 mph, if he wanted to hit someone there's no way that they could get out of the way in time.

And I seriously doubt if he was going to hit someone it would be in the head where he could kill them. Add to that it was a tie game with no outs and there's absolutely no way he was trying to hit him.

Maybe he was intentionally throwing over his head to fuck with him then, because no closers should have that poor of accuracy.

Also, there wasn't a fight, just like how no one got hit. Both sides sending their message

Or maybe he just threw 2 bad pitches? That shit happens a lot. Just because he throws 102 and Rizzo was being a crybaby it got more attention paid to it than there should have been.

You don't throw at people's head and then staredown and wave at the dugout without expecting someting to happen. Regardless of his intentions with his pitching it was his jackass behavior that caused it.
