• The Dodgers were interested in Rangers ace Yu Darvish even before Clayton Kershaw’s back injury, writes Jon Morosi of MLB.com. The timetable for Kershaw’s return, once determined, will further impact their level of interest in Darvish and other arms on the market. Morosi hears that among Dodgers’ top prospects, the team is most attached to right-hander Walker Buehler, who has already ascended to Triple-A and could conceivably help the club in 2017. Texas, meanwhile, would likely target two of the Dodgers’ top four prospects (Buehler, Yadier Alvarez, Alex Verdugo and Willie Calhoun), per Morosi, which is a steep but largely unsurprising ask with the Rangers seemingly on the fence about whether to move Darvish at all.

Think it's time for the dodgers to go all in for a World Series. I wouldn't trade Buehler since he's close to mlb ready. I'd include Calhoun for sure though.

Really hope Kershaw is 100% for the yoffs. He's the best pitcher to watch in the game right now.

Initial prognosis is Kershaw will miss 4-6 week. Would return in late August early September

Finally getting the full story on this Eckersley/Price incident and man does Price come off as a bitch. Hes getting his ass ripped today on Sports radio and all over twitter. Sox fans (me included) love Eck and think he should be a full time NESN broadcaster because he tells it like it is while Remy isn't critical of the players at all.

I already knew about the JBJ incident and thought it was sensitive but didn't think it was super malicious, but he basically set him up it sounds like. I mean dude was 7 for 58 coming into this game on 8/9/15 and then had a HR & a triple with 5 RBI's. Dude bumped his average up to .148 after having a .531 OPS in 2014. He went on an absolute tear after this, but weird to pump your chest out like "look at me now" after one good game. I love JBJ's game, but he comes off as a weasel.
