Bummer that Shaw isn't an all star, he's been a pretty integral part for the Brewers so far this year. Feels like every game he's driving in a run. I'm aware this team doesn't have a bunch of stars or big names, but having a winning record all year they at least should have had one more then just Knebel (which was a total no brainer anyway)

Wish that Thames was in the derby too, but he didn't even get an invite despite having more home runs than half the participants...

No wonder baseball is declining. Heres a guy who will generate ratings for the all star week (he's pretty popular in Asia) and in the US as well for his "feel good story" of making it back to the big leagues and for his cool personality. Theres also the mention on how there's this decline on african american players in baseball. This guy falls into your lap and he gets "random drug tested" after every homer

There's some skullduggery going on in baseball. Thames with 23 home runs isn't even listed in the home run stats. I guess they're so used to the Brewers second half swoon that they don't even include them. I think they dumped all votes for Brewer players. Chunky soup used to have a Click for Cans fan vote tournament every year and the Packers won 8 straight years by large margins. Campbell's finally dropped the whole thing. I know Wisconsin people vote in large numbers.
