That was fun , too bad Stanton got upset in that 1st round. I think after Judge put up that 23 spot from behind you had a sense the others guys could not keep up.

Physical specimen. The natural power he can generate is unreal. Curious to see how teams will try to figure him out and if he'll slow down or maintain this pace.

I don't wanna sound all hyperbolic, but Aaron Judge can probably cure cancer with his bat.

Well he strikes out a third of the time, he'll have a drop off in the second half.

Internet saying he's the 2nd coming of Ruth. People already think he's better than Trout LOL.

That said he's obviously the mvp. If he falls a bit Altuve should win but nobody cares about him.

He's a Yankee rookie who's a giant of a man, hit 30 HRs before the AS break and leads the league, ontop of all that he just won the HR derby in epic fashion.

If anyone has earned the right to be called "The next Ruth" today, it's Aaron Judge.

Over/under 50? I see him hitting 55.

A half season of work for an old rookie gets you called Ruth now? Current standards are low for Yankees I guess. That or they forgot about Arod from less than 10 years ago. Then again the same things were said about Sanchez last year.

A-Rod from less than 10 years ago? How is that a good comparison? Yeah we're only comparing them because they wear similar hats lol. Nobody is saying he's comparable to Ruth right now, but the only sample we have of him so far can only be described as "Ruthian".

Show me all the rookies from the last 35 years with 30 HRs before the break, who were MVP front runners, and killed everyone at the HR derby.

The thing is people actually believe that if you read twitter or other forums. I have routinely seen people say he's better than Harper or Trout. I agree the small sample is insane and he is no doubt the front runner for mvp but there are numerous people that actually believe the statement.

Also Bellinger has the best hr rate to start a career and he's much younger than judge. I do think Judge is much better and I expect Bellinger to fall closer to Pederson than the former.

I don't know hasn't played a full season yet and the HR derby notoriously screws up a guys swing the 1st couple of weeks after the break.

Bellinger is the same way. It's kind of weird to see how they've both managed to hit pretty well with how much they strike out. Judges batting average should for sure drop below .300 but who fucking knows at this rate.

Yea but he's only 21 compared to judge who's 25. I see bellinger cutting down on his strikeouts in the future.

lmao at Judge having "earned" the right to be called the next ruth because he's had a great 85 games lmfao

So Judge's number are better now than they were in the minors? Yea, this isn't going to last.

Judge seems like a good kid, I predict he will go down as an all time great
