Missed a Doctors appointment last friday

And now I’m in the doctors office. Been waiting for an 1 1/2 hours and I still haven’t seen the doctor.

Do I deserve this?

There’s no way I’m paying if they try to charge me that $50 cancellation fee though

They probably have nothing to do with each other. This isn't an act of spite, it's just medicine in a nutshell. Not enough doctors to adequately provide for all the patients. Your doctor is basically expected to bang out a visit in 15 minutes and this never happens. The later in the day your appt is, the more you're gonna have to wait.

Was it for the same doctor? If that's the case, then maybe you should ask the receptionist what's up.

I make it in early for my appointments and still wait forever. I always try to get the first appointment of the day and I still wait.
