Mismatches this sunday

so, the UFC on Fox 14 card is just around the corner, and i wanted to gauge public opinion on 1-2 of the matches which, in my mind, are complete mismatches.

So, first, we have Bekdic vs Redmond .............. Bekdic is a beast, and Redmond is accpeting this fight on very short notice. A decent grappler who wins many fights by leg/toe lock, I cant see Redmond having much of a chance here at all. Bekdic all the way.

Second, Henderson vs Mousasi .............. Hendo, despite having good credentials, is the most uni-dimensional fighter in thw UFC, a guy who plods from round to round looking for an overhand right, and that's about all. Mousasi on the other hand, though having lost his last couple of fights, is far more fight smart than Hendo, and he will pick Hendo apart here.

These are my two mismatches for sunday. What are yours?

Hendo / Mousasi can only be seen that way because of Hendo's age. I think Gegard tends to not impress during his more high profile fights and I still don't trust his fight iq.

I'd be surprised if Redmond even makes weight to be honest. He has never cut down to 145 and walks around at 180, and he has two weeks to make the cut. If he does make it, he'll probably look like shit in the fight. Not to mention Bekdic is excellent and a very strong prospect. I suppose it's worth it for Redmond to go up against the odds because he'll get another fight with a full training camp. Hopefully it doesn't end up looking like a mismatch on the night.

On topic I wouldn't trust Moose to steamroll Hendo, at all.

Gus/Rumble is a mismatch. A huge LHW, excellent technical boxer who almost won the title is taking on a bloated welterweight whos only good at beating semi-retired guys.
It will look like recent Conor fights.

Mousasi vs hendo. hendo is done he's old as fuck he is smaller and weaker than he was especially without TRT, he is even slower than he was a few years ago and what's obvious is that he has no balance that's why he gets taken down so easily and you see it often he sometimes almsot stmbles to the ground he should retire he's just done and Mousasi is a horrible matchup for him he has a great chin and is much taller and a much better boxer there's just no way hendo as one dimensional as he has been rceently can beat Mousasi

This^^^ and additionally, Mousasi is "like a box of chocolates"... you never know what version of Mousasi you are gonna get.

Finally, to dismiss Gustafsson is also foolish, seeing as he IMO won a close decision to JBJ.

Can't wait to see these two fights!

"Never pick against leg lock specialists" is the rule I try to imply. For example, here's Entwistle vs Birchak. Remember how highly touted Birchak was and how Entwistle heelhooked him in a minute? I say that because I think Redmond will grab the leg of Bektic and apply a toe hold, his go-to technique. Generally, leg lock defense isn't something everyone bothers to do nor does well.
