Yair, Bektic and DHC should be interchangeable in the rankings. Personally I think Tavares is the best win any of those guys have so far in the UFC, and 3 straight KO/TKOs is very impressive but I don't think it's crazy to have DHC as 16 or whatever

Have a friend of mine who trains at ATT. A lot of people don't know how good Bektic is yet especially since he has been out, guy is phenomenal. Coaches there think he is possibly the best fighter in the gym including Lawler. They view him as a diet GSP.

It's unjustified, but it's not a big deal; the UFC / media rankings are a joke and always have been.

The UFC / media rankings in the 10-15 range are throwaway slots, as no one ranked there is getting a title shot save for a scenario like the one that lead to Joe Soto's shot, which had nothing to do with rankings. All that really matters for a fighter who is ranked in that range or unranked is what Joe Silva (or Sean Shelby in this case) thinks of them.
