Stipe is trying to become full time as a firefighter. He’s got 1 foot out the door already.

He knows he can't do this fight stuff forever and needs to set up the next stage. And that won't be able to come at a snap of his fingers. The full time slots in his area don't open up often and get absolutely swamped with applications when they do. And he has to pass a rigorous exam to even qualify for one, and even the exams aren't scheduled frequently. He mentioned in some interview (I want to say with Forrest Griffin?) that he was lined up to take it but it got set to be administered during the TUF house and no way was he going to duck out on his fighters for that.

But he's still got some tread left, as he put it recently. He ain't putting out the placemats at his retirement party yet.

Oh my god. Believe it or not he was once asked what fictional opponent he would like most to face...and he brought up those Peter Griffin/Giant Chicken fights! He's a huge Family Guy fan.

Let DC "Interview" His Daddy...Jon Jones on that set and all you will hear is yes Sir and no Sir....Wont be any professional media disrespect as DC represents because he knows Daddy will "Give it to HIM" right there with no questions asked....Dude is just fake as the day is long....

I like DC well enough but you've put your finger on one thing that really sticks in my craw. People blabber about Miocic bitching and crying nonstop when he was lobbying for the rematch, but nobody can match DC's inability to let a thing go. He is a very argumentative, getting in your digs sort. Miocic at least will eventually say Whatever or Next Question and move on. DC will continue the exchange all day and night if you let him. He just HAS to have the last word.
