I have one black buddy who comes with me and my friends to the beach all the time. He's legit like 1 of only 3 black people on a beach filled with tons of white people. He hangs though but guess what I see how people look at him when he's with us. People look at him differently. I would say it's because he's a big black guy but I'm a big white guy with a Dominican tan. I don't like admitting it but he gets different looks from people.

We think it's funny and we always tell him "he's made it." Lol.

He also went to college, works in a jail school trying to help troubled youth for less money than he would make at a regular school and also works as a bouncer on the weekends for extra money.

He is the exact opposite of what people think.

Yeah man, hopefully some day the media will quit pitting us against one another. I honestly think around election time this will blow over. I think they are just airing this stuff to get votes and when they stop airing it it'll go back to normal. I hope anyway, otherwise we are all going to have problems on our hands.

Same here. Easy to get caught up in the narrative.

I ran into a guy the other day, we got into a political conversation and he was all "Because I'm black I gotta be democrat? Hell no, I'm voting Trump". I was shocked and realized I was guilty of stereotyping.

This type of narrative really isn't healthy for the populace.

It's so much worse when its fed through the media and schools too..they are literally brainwashed. None of this shit was an issue 15 years ago, at least not to this extent..the whole thing has been cooked up

This is known as an appeal to authority. No amount of facts I present (like entire crowds chanting "kill cops" and "kill whites") will win me the argument, because you are arguing from an illogical position. The video referenced is an example of a crowd promoting racist ideas (and acting them out), the dallas video is an example of a crowd promoting racist ideas and there are countless others that I've seen in this subforum alone.

You should use your position in the movement to condemn acts of violence against police officers and white people. Make your voice heard and change the direction before it becomes something you wouldn't support.

I've never understood why these people destroy their own neighborhoods.
