Milo Yiannopoulos comes to Berkeley tommorow. 1.9k people pledging to prostest. Prepare your Angus!!

The focus is on wearing masks at protests and people wearing masks have consistently been causing problems at protests. I think it is quite reasonable to demand a ban on masks during protests given the amount of problems people in masks cause.
Because masks at protests and more laws in general are exactly what we need to be concerned with in this country right now.

Or, you know, how about the police do their job and bash these mask wearing douchebag's faces in then arrest them.

lmao@"demand a ban on masks during protests"

That's fucking dumb as shit dude

A ban on masks is a smart preemptive tactic. Why wait around for a leftist degenerate in a mask to destroy something or physically assault someone when you can arrest them for wearing a mask before they commit a serious crime?

Ban masks? What in the fuck

I didn't think it was possible to make a dumber post than:

but you may have succeeded.

In the same thread no less. LMAO

You're behind the times; it's illegal, to varying degrees, to wear a mask while taking part in a protest in many countries. Including Canada and most European nations.

Social media can be tricky. People forget that they have their employer listed under personal details, and go on to make statements that reflect badly on their employer by association.

Yeah, but not exclusively. Take the guy who made an ass of himself for berating the Chick-fil-A cashier. He was canned for a video. Or the Canadian guy who was fired for being rude to a reporter on the street. Also canned for a video. There's a long line of teachers no longer teaching because of political tweets they made.

There's just too much pressure to remain politically correct. I mean, take a look at Uber.

You didn't see this?

th
All the reports I am reading said they blended in with the larger march, then broke off to start violence.

Protests that become violent and destructive are indeed unlawful by definition.

So you're just assuming now that students involved in violence or destruction of property on campus aren't being punished because why?

I'm not assuming either, I'm asking you to prove that they're not like you claim.

Yes, i am assuming that they are not being disciplined because this happens regularly. We are in agreement that they SHOULD be doing somthing You just seem to for whatever reason think that they are.

Sure you can. Your employer can fire you if he thinks you damage his brand.

If you live in a right to work state, you can be fired for just about anything. If it is for a reason that is technically illegal, your employer can easily come up with some other reason.

Source that students caught being violent and destroying property aren't being disciplined?

I definitely agree that political correctness has been used as a free speech suppression by the left, you wont get any fight from me on that one.

I think you just have to exercise common sense. Don't engage in violence, don't say hateful things, etc. If you're on camera (which you most likely you will be at some point), be professional and state your case respectfully. Most employers will not risk a lawsuit unless you are completely out of line.

True, most employers won't risk it. And most individual people posting on social media aren't important enough or even capable enough of "damaging" a brand. But it can and does happen that you're fired for voicing your political opinion, or just being a jackass.

Source that they are? Evidence that they are?

I'd take a source for either. You're just making things up as I tear apart your argument with your own sources.

I'm not assuming either, you are.

Prove your assumption.

Let's be honest here Devout, we can ban masks, ban flags (sticks are used as weapons) but these people won't follow or respect any rules. It won't make a difference. It's a waste of time. The police doing their job and arresting these rioters and charging them is the only thing that will make a difference.

Tearing my argument up? lol This happens regularly and there is no evidnce at all that anything is being done by the campus. Who's the one who's reaching?

Oh fuck this is golden

You and bruce are conservatives calling for restricting freedoms. So let's ban silencers, muzzle flashes, muzzle brakes, adjustable stocks, folding stocks, pistol grips, and 30rd mags right?!!>

You said it wasn't in their code of conduct to discipline violent and destructive students. I used your source and proved you wrong.

That is about as bad as the left crying about racial profiling. Act like a thug, get pulled over, and cry. The same with pulling guns on cops, get killed, then riot, and trash your own city. lol

"The violence was instigated by a group of about 150 masked agitators who came onto campus and interrupted an otherwise non-violent protest."

"The masked agitators came to campus eastbound on Bancroft Way, and fire damage and other destruction to the Stiles Hall construction site, where a new residence hall is planned, was reported. The group entered campus and immediately began throwing rocks at officers. In an effort to avoid injuries to innocent members of the surrounding crowd who might have been caught in the middle, police officers exercised restraint and did not respond with force."

So.. you want Berkeley to expel masked non-student agitators that came from off campus to disrupt a peaceful protest of over 2000 law abiding students?
