I don't think those two are related; the lifestyle is a product of the way society has, and in a lot of cases still, treated gays and bis, which led to sexual repression during our formative years, which in turn causes a game of catch-up as soon as we leave the repression behind us and finally live our lives as we wish to. There is some data suggesting AD(H)D is more prevalent among LGB-teens, but no causal relation so far.

By the way, I heard that the reason why Dave hasn't moved to Texas or a more conservative state like his former friend Joe Rogan or Ben Shapiro is because he and his husband plan on adopting children some day and it would be easier to do so in California than Texas (technically it's legal in Texas and all other states due to a 2017 Supreme Court ruling, but there are loopholes that conservative judges in TX and other right wing states can use to get around it). So not sure that even Dave (or Milo for that matter) buys his own bullshit. Truth is, he enjoys living in liberal So Cal with a strong gay community and the protections provided for him there. He'd be in hell in Ben Shapiro's ideal world and he knows it.
