This is ridicules as @GoldenWolf87 would say. There are very good cultural and historical reasons that Chicago's gayborhood in particular has a male gendered name. The "racism" (no), "sexism" (what?) and "transphobia" (ok) pale in comparison to how extremely HOMOPHOBIC this horrible idea is. I'm not even kidding, it's a disgrace and in reality will have the opposite effect of making spaces more welcoming for straight women and trans folx.

I just learned who built it recently. Most people only know its one of the cleanest and most friendly neighborhoods in the city

My bf lived there for a couple years before moving to Phoenix, it's a special place with a lot of charm. I'm probably partial to WeHo (LA) myself but that's more a matter of familiarity and time spent. Plus the SoCal weather lol.
