This was from the lead-up to his fight with Tony Tubbs, made for Japanese TV, while he was in Japan. What strikes me is his gentleness towards the japanese press, and fans (see him with disabled children, holding them), also his respect for his wife Robin Givens. There is also alot of sparring footage of him and Oliver McCall.

He's always had a benevolent/sensitive side, it's just that his bad side was more famous for obvious reasons.
 
I think the issue with Tyson honestly is that he secretes more testosterone than an average male, by far. he apparently walked into the gym at 15 at 190 pounds and low bodyfat, despite being 5'10 and living in poverty. when he feels safe and unthreatened, he's a gentle guy. of course when he's provoked or going for it, God help us.
 
I was just watching this video of Tyson. Might be interesting to some if you haven't seen many of his old fights. 31 of his knockouts with some random facts
